Maori Oxshott Cricket Club

Our overseas Australian, Matt Hutcheon, who was with us last summer, is coming over again this season. He is looking for lodgings between 24th April and the end of September. He plans to work in London between Monday and Friday (Matt is a carpenter) and will have cricket commitments over the weekend. Time is short before his arrival so if you have a space to spare, the team at MOCC would be hugely grateful. Please contact our treasurer Linda Shaw who is acting on his behalf – ku.oc1430107208.liam1430107208toh@e1430107208gatto1430107208c.elb1430107208marb1430107208.

Welcome to OVSC’s longest established sport with a growing young membership. Cricket has been played at OVSC since 1896 and merged with the Maori Cricket Club from Worcester Park in 2000. This new Maori Oxshott Cricket Club now boasts top class facilities for players, officials and spectators of all ages.

We have three senior sides – the Saturday 1st and 2nd XIs play in the Rymans Surrey Championship and our Sunday team plays friendlies. With a newly refurbished clubhouse and welcoming bar, it’s a great place to play cricket. Details of senior training, fixtures and links to the league website can be seen on the Senior tab to the left.

Our Colts cricket encompasses U8-U17, with fun sessions offered to U7’s as an introduction to the game. The MOCC programme is designed to give ALL boys the maximum amount of opportunities to play matches. Indoor winter nets at Shrewsbury House school run on Sunday afternoons, starting on 18 January, and on Friday evenings at OVSC in the spring and summer. Full session details and times are on the Colts page of this website.

All ages are warmly welcome to visit OVSC and see for yourself why our cricket club is going from strength to strength.
