Oxshott Pétanque Club

Oxshott Pétanque Club offers people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to play the French game of boules in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The club currently has about sixty members and belongs to the Southern Counties Region of the  Pétanque England (PE).  To visit their websites please click on the icons below.  In 2012 the club was funded by Sport England’s Inspired Facility Fund to build a new international size terrain and now has 2 fantastic terrains to play on. The terrains are 24m X 17m of 1-3 mm fine grit and 24m X 14m of 4-5mm grit.

How Do I Go About Playing?

Please email OPC at oxshottpetanque@hotmail.co.uk or telephone OVSC on 01372 843652 and a member of the committee will be delighted to talk to you about joining our club.

Club sessions are played all year round on Tuesday and Saturday afternoons at 1:00 in the winter and 1:30 in the summer and, in the Summer months, on Thursday evenings at 5:00.

There are a number of club competitions held throughout the year.

Members regularly take part in open competitions, mostly in Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire.

The club also enters teams in both the Southern Counties Region six-a-side league and the local North Downs League.

We can lend boules to anyone wishing to try Pétanque. Members will be pleased to help out anyone new to the sport.

Joining the Club – If you are interested in  joining the club you can either call the OVSC office for a membership pack or click here to visit the OVSC Membership section of the website where you will find an application form together with membership subscription information.
