Oxshott Village Sports Club Email Policy

OVSC sends two types of emails to members:

Individual ones dealing with membership related topics, or in response to queries raised by members

Bulk emails containing newsletters,  information about events that may be interesting to members, or giving details of maintenance that may impact members use of the facilites.

All the email addresses we use have been provided by members themselves, and they have the option of declining to receive bulk emails, either when joining the club, or at any time by contacting the office.

Email is a cheap and convenient way of communicating with our members. Using post would be a considerable expense that would be reflected in subscriptions.

To ensure that our emails get through, we would ask our members to NOT move our emails into Spam or Junk folders when they are received. This can lead to our email being blacklisted, thereby blocking our means of communication with all our members. If you do not want to receive emails from OVSC, please reply to an OVSC email requesting that the office remove your email address from our database.
