Tennis

The tennis section at OVSC is friendly and sociable and welcomes all abilities and ages to enjoy its first class facilities.

There are 9 tennis courts – 7 artificial clay, 1 dual purpose hard surface and a MUGA (multi-use games area) – all are floodlit with new LED lighting 2 up to 10pm and the others until 9pm.

The club also provides tennis balls for members.

2024 Summer League Season - The teams have had a successful summer season. In the Surrey Wilson League the Mens 1st & 2nd teams narrowly missed promotion spots, both finishing 3rd. The Mens 3rd team won their Division and the 2nd team came 2nd so both will be promoted for next year. The Ladies 1st team weekend and mid-week also won their divisions and both will be promoted. In the National League, where a format of singles & doubles is played the Mens 1st team won and the 2nd team came 2nd so both will be promoted. In the Dorking & Leatherhead league the Men entered the team for the first time and won every match so will be promoted next year with some more challenging games.

And finally, the Chaucer mixed vets team won their league!

So all in all some great results!
