Padel & Petanque Fun Sunday!

On a fine sunny Sunday afternoon, 40 OVSC members got together to play a friendly Petanque match. There were 20 Padel members and 20 Petanque players all playing together in mixed teams of one Petanquer and one Padeler.

They played 2 games of Doubles in timed games and then retired to the clubhouse for one of Jeff’s famous teas. The very generous wine prizes provided by Sandra Elmes and the Padel section were very much appreciated.

The winning teams were:

1st: Ash Patel and Harriet Jarvis

2nd: Ann Pickering and Janet Cook

3rd: Terry Freeman and Luke Mulvihill

Anyone from OVSC is very welcome to come and give Petanque a go any time - they play on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday at 1.30pm.  Just turn up at the Terrain, or let Sarah/ Fiona in the OVSC office know.
